Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TarotGo mobile application ("Service", "App") operated by TarotGo ("us", "we", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using this Service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement, together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms also incorporate Apple's App Store Terms of Service, which apply to your use of the App.
2. Description of Service
TarotGo is a digital spiritual and self-reflection application that provides:
- Personalized tarot card readings, spreads, and interpretations
- Daily card draws with reflection prompts and reading history
- A comprehensive tarot card dictionary and learning resources
- Palmistry (palm reading) using on-device machine learning
- Augmented Reality (AR) tarot card experiences
- Astrology, numerology, horoscopes, and lunar calendar content
- Destiny Matrix, Couple Destiny Matrix, and Compatibility readings
- Mercury retrograde tracking and alerts
- Global Vibe Check location-based content
- PDF export of readings and customizable settings and preferences
3. Entertainment Only — Not Professional Advice
TarotGo is provided strictly for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal insight. All readings, interpretations, palmistry analyses, astrological content, numerology, Destiny Matrix results, compatibility scores, horoscopes, and related content offered by the Service:
- Are not intended to replace professional advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological, or otherwise)
- Must not be used as a substitute for professional consultation, diagnosis, treatment, or decision-making
- Are intended solely to encourage self-reflection, curiosity, and personal insight
- Do not predict the future, guarantee specific outcomes, or make any claims of scientific accuracy
- Should not be relied upon to make important life, health, relationship, financial, or legal decisions
If you are dealing with a serious health, mental health, legal, or financial situation, please consult a qualified licensed professional. You acknowledge and agree that you use the Service and any content, interpretations, or suggestions it provides entirely at your own risk and discretion.
4. Age Requirements
The Service is available to users of all ages, subject to the App Store's age rating. However, we recommend that users under 18 use the Service with parental guidance and supervision. Some content (astrology, tarot, palmistry, compatibility) may be more appropriate for teen and older audiences. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children's use of the Service, including any in-app purchases made from the device.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service in a lawful and responsible manner
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the application
- Not use the Service to harm, harass, defraud, or violate the rights of others
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or its content
- Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
- Not resell, redistribute, or publicly display content generated by the Service (such as PDF readings) in a way that misrepresents them as coming from anyone other than TarotGo
6. Camera, Palmistry, and Augmented Reality
Certain features of the Service — including palm reading and Augmented Reality (AR) tarot cards — require access to your device's camera. Camera access is optional and can be granted or revoked at any time in your device's Settings.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Palm images captured through the camera are processed entirely on your device using an on-device machine learning model and are never uploaded to our servers
- Palm reading results are generated algorithmically and are provided for entertainment and self-reflection only — they are not medical, dermatological, or scientific assessments
- AR safety: When using AR features, remain aware of your physical surroundings. Do not use AR features while driving, walking near traffic, on stairs, or in any situation where reduced attention could cause injury or damage
- You are solely responsible for how, where, and when you use the camera-based features of the Service
7. Location-Based Content
The "Global Vibe Check" feature uses your approximate location (with your permission) to display tarot cards trending in your area. Location-based content is provided for entertainment only and is not intended as guidance about places, travel, or people. Location access is optional and can be revoked at any time in your device's Settings without affecting other features.
8. Notifications
If you enable notifications, TarotGo may send local notifications for reminders such as the "Card of the Day", Mercury retrograde milestones, or lunar events. All notifications are delivered locally by iOS. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the app's settings or your device's Settings.
9. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
TarotGo offers optional Premium subscriptions that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are currently offered on a monthly and yearly basis. All purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit.
Pricing and Billing
The current price of each subscription plan and any free trial or introductory offer is displayed in the App before you complete the purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Prices may vary by country and may be updated from time to time; any change will be communicated in-app prior to the next renewal.
Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price of the subscription. You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID account settings on your device after purchase.
Free Trials and Introductory Offers
Where offered, a free trial or introductory offer is available only to eligible new subscribers as determined by Apple. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the standard price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Restoring Purchases
If you reinstall the App or change devices, you can restore an active subscription within the App using the "Restore Purchases" option. Restore relies on your Apple ID.
Cancellation and Refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to Premium features until then. Because purchases are made through Apple, all refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies: https://support.apple.com/HT204084. TarotGo cannot process refunds directly.

10. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to tarot card artwork, palmistry interpretations, Destiny Matrix content, astrology and numerology text, audio, images, code, and the overall design — are owned by TarotGo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. Any use outside this license requires our prior written permission.
11. Your Content and Exports
Any information you enter into the App (such as your birth date, notes, or intentions) and any PDF exports of readings you generate are stored locally on your device. If you choose to share exported content (for example, via the iOS Share Sheet), you are solely responsible for the sharing and any consequences of it. TarotGo does not claim ownership of the personal notes or intentions you write, but you grant us a limited license to process such content on-device as necessary to deliver the Service.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times
- Defects, bugs, or inaccuracies will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
- Results obtained from the Service — including tarot readings, palm analyses, astrology, numerology, Destiny Matrix, or compatibility outcomes — will be accurate, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose
- Location or trend content in features such as Global Vibe Check will be accurate or complete
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TarotGo, its affiliates, and its licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any reliance you place on tarot readings, palmistry, astrology, numerology, Destiny Matrix content, or any other output of the Service. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, add to, or discontinue the Service (or any part or feature thereof) at any time with or without notice. Features that require a subscription may be added, changed, or removed; if we make a material change that reduces the value of a paid subscription, we will provide reasonable notice and, where required by law, a proportionate refund.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the App from your device. Any active subscription will continue to bill through your Apple ID until you cancel it as described in Section 9.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which TarotGo operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
