TarotGo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the TarotGo mobile application handles, how it is used, and how it is safeguarded. TarotGo focuses on the Destiny Matrix. It has no user accounts, we do not run analytics servers, and virtually all of your data stays on your device.
1. Information We Collect
To calculate your Destiny Matrix, you may choose to enter:
- Your birth date (and, for the Couple Matrix, the birth date of a partner or another person)
- Optional names or labels you give to your saved matrices
This information is stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. It is never sent to us or to any third party. TarotGo does not require an account, email address, phone number, or name to work.
TarotGo does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.
2. Anonymous Diagnostic Data
If you have enabled it in your iOS Settings, Apple may share anonymous, aggregated diagnostic information (such as crash logs and performance metrics) with app developers through Apple's own systems. This data does not identify you personally.
TarotGo does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
TarotGo offers an optional Premium subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks the Couple Matrix. The Destiny Matrix is free to use. All purchases are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. This means:
- We never see or store your payment details. Apple handles all payment processing.
- TarotGo receives only an anonymous confirmation from Apple of whether your subscription is active. We cannot link this to your identity.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription, and request refunds, through your Apple ID Settings and the App Store.

4. How We Use Your Information
The limited information TarotGo handles is used only to:
- Calculate and display your Destiny Matrix and Couple Matrix on your device
- Save your matrices so you can revisit them later
- Confirm your subscription status through Apple's StoreKit
5. On-Device Processing and Storage
All calculations and interpretations are done locally on your device. TarotGo does not use cloud servers, external APIs, or generative AI services to produce your results. Your birth dates, saved matrices, and preferences are stored only on your device. We cannot access them, and they are never sent to us because we do not operate any servers that hold user data.
6. Sharing and Exports
TarotGo can create a PDF of a matrix result. The PDF is created on your device. If you choose to share it, you do so through the standard iOS Share Sheet. You choose the destination (Messages, Mail, another app, and so on), and that destination's own privacy policy applies. TarotGo itself does not upload or send any shared content.
7. Third-Party Services
TarotGo does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only outside platform involved is Apple, which provides the App Store, StoreKit (subscriptions), and App Store ratings. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to outside parties.
8. Children's Privacy
TarotGo is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, we comply with children's privacy laws such as COPPA where applicable. Some content (astrology and numerology themes) may be better suited to older audiences, so parents should use their discretion.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Because your data is stored on your device, you stay in control of it:
- You can delete all app data at any time by deleting TarotGo from your device.
- You can change your birth date and delete saved matrices from within the app.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple ID Settings or the App Store.
- No account or registration is needed to use TarotGo.
Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, and other regions may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, most such requests are already met, but you are welcome to contact us to exercise any right.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in features, technology, or the law. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
